Buying Property in Spain
Some of us have only ever dreamed of relocating or owning a holiday home in Spain.
However, transport from the UK to Spain has now become so fast and affordable that it is possible to have the holiday home of your choice, or relocate and still have easy access to friends and family
This is exactly what we did nearly three years ago, and experienced the purchasing process with very little knowledge and only a few words of Spanish.
The phrase "hablas mas despacio por favor" (please speak more slowly) was used very frequently!
After successfully purchasing our property with the aid and love of a very special Spanish friend , who is now an important part of our family we began to integrate into the local community and have not looked back since, and have found our new home and life here in rural Spain a wonderful and rewarding experience.
After working for a Spanish estate agency I was surprised to find that the pricing and commission for the same property can vary from as much as 50% more from one agent to another, and felt that we could offer a far more open and honest service for others.
Our only regret about living here in Andalucia is that we did not do it sooner. The relaxed way of life, wonderful Spanish neighbors and of course all that sunshine just makes it the best place to enjoy your life with family & friends
